This covers what EVE Yield ("the Service") collects, why, and how you can get it removed. See also our Terms of Service, which covers the rest of the legal ground.
When you log in with EVE Online's official SSO, we store your character ID, character name, account creation date, and the access/refresh tokens CCP's ESI API issues us for your character. We never see or store your EVE Online account password - SSO login happens entirely on CCP's own site.
Using those tokens, we read whatever character data the scopes you granted allow - skills, blueprint ownership, industry jobs, wallet balance, location, clone/implant data, standings, loyalty points, and planetary colonies - to compute the estimates and rankings you see. We cache this in our database so pages load fast instead of re-fetching from ESI on every view.
A session cookie (a signed token, not a database lookup key) keeps you logged in and remembers which character(s) you've linked to the current browser session.
If you connect a third-party AI assistant, we store which app you approved, when, and a hashed (not plaintext) refresh token scoped to read-only access - the app never receives your ESI tokens or EVE Online credentials. You can review or revoke any connection at any time from Dashboard → Connected Apps.
We use Google Analytics for basic, anonymized usage tracking (which pages get used, roughly how many people visit) - not to build an ad profile or track you across other sites. See Google's privacy policy for how they handle that data.
We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. The only parties involved are the infrastructure providers that run the Service itself: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and Resend (only if you submit a feature request or bug report through the in-app form, so we can email a reply). Each only sees what's necessary to do their job - hosting compute, storing the database, or sending one email.
Character data stays until you delete it or stop using the Service long enough that it's no longer useful to us. Revoking EVE Yield's access from your EVE Online third-party application settings immediately stops us from fetching anything new, but doesn't by itself delete what's already stored - email us (below) to have your character record removed entirely.
You can log out at any time (clears your session cookie), unlink a character without fully logging out (Dashboard → the character switcher), revoke third-party AI access (Dashboard → Connected Apps), or email us to request full deletion of your stored character data.
